The Process

Your Healing Journey

Therapy isn't a straight line — it's a journey of growth. Here's what to expect as we work together toward lasting change.

1

Exploration

🌱

Planting the Seed

We begin by creating a safe, judgment-free space where you can share your story. This is about understanding where you are, what brought you here, and what you hope to achieve.

What We'll Focus On

  • Initial assessment and goal-setting
  • Building trust and rapport
  • Identifying patterns and triggers
  • Establishing therapeutic alliance

Milestone: You'll leave feeling heard and understood, with clarity on your therapeutic path.

2

Connection

🌿

Taking Root

As trust deepens, we dive into the heart of your challenges. You'll gain insight into how past experiences shape present behaviors and learn tools to manage difficult emotions.

What We'll Focus On

  • Exploring underlying causes
  • Developing coping strategies
  • Challenging limiting beliefs
  • Processing difficult emotions safely

Milestone: You'll notice shifts in how you respond to stress and relate to yourself.

3

Growth

🌳

Reaching Upward

This is where real change happens. You're actively practicing new skills, testing boundaries, and building the life you want. Progress may feel nonlinear—that's normal and part of the process.

What We'll Focus On

  • Implementing new behaviors
  • Building resilience and confidence
  • Strengthening relationships
  • Expanding comfort zones gradually

Milestone: You'll see tangible improvements in daily life and relationships.

4

Transformation

🍃

Bearing Fruit

You've become your own therapist. The insights, tools, and self-awareness you've gained are now part of who you are. Therapy transitions from necessity to maintenance, and eventually, completion.

What We'll Focus On

  • Consolidating gains and insights
  • Planning for future challenges
  • Celebrating growth and change
  • Preparing for life after therapy

Milestone: You'll feel equipped to navigate life's challenges with confidence and wisdom.

Ready to Begin Your Journey?

Every journey starts with a single step. Let's take that step together.

What Clients Say

Real stories from people who've found healing and growth

"
I put off therapy for years because I didn't think it would help. Gina proved me wrong in the best way possible. She gave me real tools, not just 'how does that make you feel.'

Individual Therapy

"
My husband and I were basically roommates at that point. Gina helped us actually hear each other again — not just talk at each other. We still have work to do, but we're doing it together now instead of alone.

Couples Therapy

"
I've seen a few therapists over the years, but Gina is different. She doesn't just listen — she challenges you in this really gentle way that makes you think. I've grown more in six months with her than in years on my own.

Individual Therapy

"
I was nervous about starting therapy and almost cancelled my first appointment. Gina made me feel comfortable within the first five minutes. She gets it, and she doesn't judge. That's hard to find.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about getting started

Individual therapy sessions are $150 per hour. I'm happy to discuss fees and options during your initial consultation.
The first session is about getting to know each other. We'll discuss what brings you to therapy, your goals, and your history. I'll explain my approach and answer any questions you have. There's no pressure—this is a space for you to explore whether we're a good fit.
This varies greatly depending on your goals and needs. Some clients find relief in 8-12 sessions, while others benefit from longer-term support. We'll regularly check in on your progress and adjust as needed. You're always in control of your therapeutic journey.
Yes! I offer secure video sessions through a HIPAA-compliant platform. Many clients prefer the convenience and comfort of meeting from home. Online sessions are just as effective as in-person for most therapeutic work.
Absolutely. Everything you share is confidential and protected by law (HIPAA). The only exceptions are if you're at risk of harming yourself or others, or if there's suspected child or elder abuse—in which case I'm legally required to take action to ensure safety.
I require 24 hours notice for cancellations. Late cancellations or no-shows may be charged the full session fee, as that time was reserved exclusively for you. Life happens though—let's talk if you're facing circumstances beyond your control.
If you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply curious about personal growth, therapy can help. You don't need to be in crisis to benefit. The best time to start is when you're ready to invest in yourself. Reach out and we can explore whether working together feels like the right fit.
